LOS ANGELES, CA — America Salutes You Presents “Guitar Legends II” the third in a series of nationally broadcast concerts benefiting mental wellness charities. ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons will anchor a stellar line-up of legendary guitarists and singers confirmed to perform including Joe Bonamassa, Don Felder, Sammy Hagar, Robby Krieger, Dave Navarro, Orianthi, Emily Estefan, and Anthony Kearns for this benefit concert at the Novo Theater in downtown Los Angeles on Sunday, December 2 at 6 p.m. PDT.
Additional star artists and celebrities to be announced shortly. The concert will be broadcasted nationally on Tribune Media-owned or operated television stations and streamed globally on Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram. It will be live to tape so please check local listings for the station and airdate in your area. AXS is the production partner and will be broadcasting “Guitar Legends II,” as they did last year with the first Guitar Legends concert.
The sponsors to date include K Love, United Airlines, Walgreens, Tribune Media and AXS-TV. Charities will benefit from the event include The Elizabeth Dole Foundation, Headstrong, Entertainment Industries, and others.
America Salutes You is a unique concert performed by top musical artists with the goal to bring national and international awareness to mental and brain health issues through a series of broadcast and streamed benefit events raising funds for mental wellness charities, with an emphasis on veterans and first responder nonprofits.
The annual event will also feature a roundtable component with experts in the field of brain and mental wellness to discuss the latest advances in treatments and challenges to find solutions for a range of problems from PTSD for veterans and first responders to those facing depression and Alzheimer’s. There will be a policy roundtable on mental and brain wellness on Saturday, December 1 that is open to the general public at a location at LA Live to be announced shortly.
Tickets for the event are $75 for general admission and will be available through the America Salutes You website (listed below) and the AEG Novo box office starting November 1.
